Stuff You Need to Know

All materials are due back to the Media Center soon! This includes all library books, Apple pencils, keyboards and Kajeet hotspots. Seniors, return all items by May 10. Freshmen/Sophomores/Juniors, return all items by May 17.

To All Students:  THIS Saturday, May 11th OLCHS will be hosting the 1st annual Fire Buddies Field Day from 9 – 11am. Bring your younger brothers and sisters out to enjoy relays, a bouncy house, face painting, tour of a fire truck, and much more. Sign up to attend on the OLCHS webstore https://olchs.revtrak.net/events/#/v/oak-lawn-fire-buddies-field-day-05-11-24.  The cost to attend is only $5 and all proceeds go to support Project Fire Buddies.

Breakfast items are now available in the Spartan Lobby from 8:00am-8:25am and from 8:50am – 9:15am on Wednesdays. The price of the complete breakfast meal will either be Free, Reduced ($.30) or Paid ($3.50). A complete breakfast meal includes one entree and a minimum of one, up to two sides (unless otherwise marked). In addition to the complete meal, a la carte items such as breakfast bars, granola bars, etc. will also be available for purchase. Be ready to show your ID and please eat your breakfast BEFORE the start of your first period. Keep an eye out for the breakfast cart in the Spartan Lobby!

Ventra Cards are now available for sale in the Business Office, Room 123. Cost is $2.00. If you’ve already purchased a card online, please pick it up in the Business Office. Business Office hours are 7:30am – 3:30pm. Plan accordingly! You will not be excused from class to pick up/purchase a card.

Tech Help - If you’re having trouble logging into your classes or having any other tech issues, please email [email protected] for tech assistance. If possible, include a screenshot of your issue.

Club/Team News

Graphic Design ClubGraphic Design Club will meet NEXT Thursday, May 16th from 3:15-4:15 in room 146 (note the date change). Please see or email Mrs. Hartman with any questions [email protected].

Theater - Interested in theater but don’t know how to start? Look no further than our 24-Hour Musical, CHICAGO! Get experience in the cast or crew and have a great time putting on an exciting performance! To learn more, there will be an info meeting next Monday, May 13th at 3:00 in Room 104! Auditions will be on May 17th and the show will be the next day, May 18th! This will be a lock in experience! Come experience Musical Theatre with low pressure and lots of fun! Pick up a permission slip on May 13th in room 104 to participate. You must turn in the permission slip on May 17th to be a part of the show! Athletic News

Cheer - Tryouts for the Sideline/Football Cheer season will be held on Monday, May 13th and Tuesday, May 14th from 3:30 to 6:00 in Gym 101.  If you are interested, you must register on 8to18/Snap prior to tryouts.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Vanderwarren in Room 123.

Girls Basketball - The girls' basketball program will be holding a mandatory meeting on Thursday morning in room 241 at 8am. This meeting will be for anyone who plans on playing basketball next season and to discuss summer basketball. You will receive a camp flyer and a June basketball calendar.

Girls’ Cross-Country - If you enjoy running and would like to learn more information about our summer/fall program, complete this google https://forms.gle/nwoCFH3axhArWhZ97. Our team is like a family. The girls work together, encourage one another, and treat each other like sisters. Be a part of something special!
