Pathways to Your Future

Our mission is to graduate students prepared for future success

Students start by identifying a career area of interest. Through Naviance, each student can explore the 16 Career Clusters.

Using the four-year plan and Spartan Guide to Career Pathways, students complete core graduation requirements and select elective courses based on their career cluster and other interests. To be considered College and Career Ready in Illinois, students should maintain a 2.8 cumulative GPA.
During their high school years, all students should participate in career exploration activities and develop their Essential Employability Competencies. To be considered College and Career Ready in Illinois, students should maintain a 95% school attendance rate.  
 
To graduate from OLCHS, students need 44 credits and 25 hours of service learning. All students are encouraged to explore additional academic and career-focused activities, such as:
